Art, craft and design allows you to explore and create exciting art work such as drawings, paintings, sculptures, mixed media pieces, textiles and much more. You will be shown how to research relevant art and craft artists, designers and makers and learn how to display the research imaginatively and effectively.

You will learn and develop art and craft techniques and explore these, this will include drawing with both traditional and non-traditional materials, printmaking, embroidery, 3D sculpture with wire, fabric manipulation, painting with different paints and using different scales and much more. Towards the end of each project you will design and develop an exciting final outcome.

Anything else I need to know?

You need to be open minded and passionate about Arts and crafts to succeed. The coursework is quite time consuming and you will  be expected to complete work independently in your own time.
