In Bees class we enjoy ERIC (Everyone Reading in Class) when we come into school in the mornings but we also love to practise writing our letters and numbers correctly by tracing with whiteboard pens. We feel proud of our efforts and love to share reading stories together! 

The children have enjoyed learning about the 5 senses of the body in science lessons and particularly liked the tasting session and the smelling pots. 

In RE, we have made lovely thank you cards to celebrate someone special or the kind and thoughtful things that they do for us. In pairs, we designed and made our own ‘Sukkot’ models using building bricks, natural materials, cubes or Lego.  

We are always keen to learn and explore new things. In Autumn 1 we have enjoyed the local walk around Rawthorpe spotting human and physical features such as Emley Moor Mast and bright red post boxes. In Autumn 2 we are looking forward to visiting The Victoria Tower on Castle Hill to learn about local history.
