What You Need to Know
-
Placement Confirmation: If your child has not yet secured a placement, please support them in doing so as soon as possible.
-
Employer Confirmation: Once a placement has been secured, the student adds it to Unifrog and this needs to then be confirmed by the employers with all insurance and risk assessments completed.
-
Parental Consent : Once this is complete a consent form will be sent via Unifrog to parents and must be digitally signed by 2nd June.
- Health & Safety: All placements will be checked for appropriate insurance and risk assessments. Students will also receive a briefing on workplace expectations and safety.
- Travel & Attendance: Students are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the placement. They are expected to attend every day and follow the working hours agreed with their employer.
- Dress Code & Conduct: Students should dress appropriately for their placement and behave in a professional manner at all times. ( any specialist items will be detailed on Unifrog)
