ETA of an Additionally Resourced Provision - Netherhall St James C of E (VC) I & N School

Grade 6, 32.5 hours, term time plus 2 days

Fixed term 12 months

Start Date February 2026 - 12 month contract

In September 2024 we opened a brand new Additionally Resourced Provisions (ARP) for pupils with complex communication & interaction (CCI) need that is sited within Netherhall St James C of E (VC) Infant & Nursery school.

The ARP provides support for pupils with Complex Communication & Interaction (CCI) needs, their families and the main school. You will be an integral part of the support team including an ARP Lead, Specialist Teacher, HLTA and ETA’s to support the learning and welfare of all targeted pupils.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate good communication and language skills, understand the importance of being part of a team, have a knowledge of the complexities of need highlighted within young people’s Education, Health Care Plan (EHCP) and be resilient and compliant to their statutory and moral obligations as a trusted adult.

The role will involve supporting students, to make good academic and social progress in the ARP and mainstream lessons, through a clear knowledge and understanding of the student’s personal needs, strategies for learning, intervention and good communication with all stakeholders.

Netherhall Learning Campus High School, Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) are looking to appoint dedicated, resourceful, imaginative and creative staff to work with students who have Complex Communication and Interaction (CCI), ASC and ADHD needs.

This is a great opportunity and time to join the team. You can grow and develop professionally, alongside colleagues, as the ARP continues the journey in providing the very best support, care and guidance for our students as they travel with us through their learning journey.
