Christmas end of term arrangements

As we approach the end of a busy and productive Autumn term, I wanted to take this opportunity to share some important information regarding the Christmas break and the start of the new term.

Key dates for the remainder of this term include:

Christmas Dinner: Wednesday 17th December 2025

Our fantastic kitchen staff will be preparing a delicious Christmas dinner served in the school dining room. The menu includes Roast Turkey with all the trimmings or cheese and onion quiche served with roast and creamed potatoes, along with fresh seasonal vegetables followed by a delicious festive dessert. The cost of the meal is £3.00 payable in advance via ParentPay or as part of the free school meal allowance if your child is eligible. Other options such as the grab and go sandwich bar and paninis etc will still be available to purchase on the day.

Christmas Jumper Day/Non-Uniform Day: Friday 19th December 2025

We are pleased to announce a non-uniform day in support of Save the Children. Students are invited to come to school in their own clothes (or Christmas jumpers if they wish) – participation is voluntary. To take part, we are suggesting a voluntary donation of £1 per pupil. Please send £1 in cash with your child on the day. Thank you for your generosity and helping us support this very worthy national charity. A reminder that outfits should be practical and appropriate for learning (no heels, crop tops, or offensive slogans).PE uniform and outdoor wear should be worn for PE lessons if timetabled—please ensure footwear is suitable.

Last Day of Term: Early finish Friday 19th December 2025

School closes to students at the earlier time of 12pm on the last day of term. Please ensure transport arrangements including taxis are updated accordingly.

First Day of Spring Term: School reopens to pupils on Monday 5th January 2026 at 8:45.

Our end of term newsletter will be sent to parents and carers by email before the end of term with highlights to celebrate the achievements and events of the autumn term and provide upcoming dates of school events.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

Best wishes for a wonderful festive break and a prosperous New Year.

Head of School
